Notes (Prismatica Thread Tracker)
📜 personal notes
They don't know how exactly I got here, but I'm not even on the same planet anymore.
The beings called "prismals" tell me I'm one of the "moon-blessed" capable of restoring "chroma" to their planet through "moon-lacing". The act of moon-lacing requires physical contact, and they said the energy also doubles as currency. Imagine that- I could earn the funds I need for that invention just by touching someone!
My invention seems more feasible than ever.
It seems I'm not the only person from the manor here. The seer walked in on me while I was investigating the thing on the wall. Moonlacing seems to work better with skin contact. Interesting, it's like we're all wires connecting to form a circut. Must study more later.
The postman is also here. His name is Victor Grantz. We learned a little bit about using the communications devices we were issued, and he is in the address book on said device.
They're building some kind of sky bridge to connect this city to a nearby dragon kingdom, which means more dragons on the road. Very fiesty. Like to give chase and bite people.
Also met Mike Norton, the acrobat. He seems to be better adjusted to this world than the others. Maybe he knows more?
Moon-lacing has healing properties. Very useful.
The dragons are singing loudly. How does one concentrate?
The mass messaging system works perfectly. I got in contact with someone calling themselves "Inaban" who says their world's technology has more similarities to this one. Oddly, the technology here incorperates a good amount of magic, which clearly exists in this world to a greater extent than home. Inaban is willing to collaborate on research in the future. I hope they aren't like that inventor...
Note to self: Buy another shirt. I'm glad there is a thing called Chroma-Wear that lets you change the appearance of your clothes, but I've always hated that prison shirt. I hate it even more now, for some reason. May as well do without the damned thing until I remember to buy myself something decent.
Why is there no better information on draconian mating patterns than pornography?
Also, it seems Mr. Grantz doesn't want me to leave the house without a shirt. I don't see the issue here, though...
A person with very poor grammar calling themselves Konoha gave me some useful information on moonblessings.
SANGUIS: Red moon. Associated with wolves, sheep, and fish. Aggressive temperament.
CORDIS: Blue moon. Associated with foxes, cats, and owls. Hungers for food and chroma. Narcissistic tendencies, has a habit of playing tricks on people.
IRIS: Purple moon. Associated with deer, rabbits, and jellyfish. Described as "warm."
The moons go into effect one at a time, in the order of listing, before all three go into effect for a few days. Then none of them are in effect during the latter half of the month. Konoha told me I am free to visit them at "TSURUGI FARMSTEAD" if I need anything else in the future. The location is saved on the map application on the device.
A giant dragon did indeed burst out of the ground. Can't quite remember her name (I know it starts with an L) but she's a benevolent force that's been sleeping underground since some Calamity.
They're offering a huge reward for going out and exploring. I'm just curious to see what this is all about, so I'm joining.
Dr. Zielger is not there. I don't know what happened to her, but I did find a therapist at the clinic who is willing to help me free of charge.
His name is Daniel Dickens, and his office is labeled with a nameplate.
I seem to have grown rabbit features and antlers, which probably makes me an "Iris" according to my notes. I don't feel any different from normal, other than the constant static I usually get after working on a connection... Or moonlacing, here.
I think the Gravekeeper has the same moonblessing, but he gains the features of a bat for some reason. He didn't look like he was feeling too well when I came across him, so I took him back to his apartment.
For future reference, his name is Andrew Criess and he lives in the apartment above ours.
In this world, they use a small chip in place of an electrical outlet. I'm trying to see how electical wiring translates to this chip technology, but so f|
[ The note ends abruptly with a long line trailing off the page. ]
Note to self, suddenly turning into a small animal during the moon phase is a real possibility. Rather annoying.
Also, the Embalmer's name is Aesop Karl and I think he lives on the floor below? I'm not too sure, I need to get a better look at the place.
Everything's gone back to normal. Only things that proves that I changed are the antlers that must have fallen off my head this morning. I would like to study them, but I'm no biologist.
There's a radio show on the public communications channel called Sally Night Live. They play music from across the multiverse and take requests. They also respond to annonymous comments.
There's a festival going on in the neighboring city of Amegahara called the Vulpus Astra Celebration. It starts at sundown, and will last for about a week or so.
There's also themed days. Today is Yukata Day, and tomorrow is Sea Day. I think I should get out of the house more often.
Note to self, refer to instruction manual on how to wear the Chromawear yukata.
I ran into someone who informed me there's a rumor about gods and a great Calamity that happened in the past. I should probably look into this if I'm going to be staying here.
First a dragon pops out from the ground, now a giant fox falls from the sky. He calls himself Vulpus. He and the dragon from last month once peacefully ruled over their countries. Then the Beasts of Calamity showed up, laid seige to the planet, and somehow made the inhabitants of the planet unable to moonlace. The gods mentioned a few days ago were sealed after that, but I think they're reemerging somehow?
Funny how I find myself here at the most pivotal of moments.
Vulpus also offered a way to go home for a little bit through a portal... If only it were that easy for me to go back. Even if I did make it to my own world, I'd just end up trapped in the Manor again or sent back to prison. I'd be better off completing my invention here with the resources available to me.
I kind of want to help, but there's no real way to go at this issue without violating the laws of physics. I could jump in whenever someone finds a lead.
In the meantime I should check up on Mr. Clark. He seems a bit down.
