[ Happy holidays, Luca! On Christmas morning, Luca will find a wooden box waiting on the doorstep to his treehouse. The box is made of pine and is tied neatly with a linen ribbon and sprig of holly. When Luca opens the box, he will find a letter placed on top of a gift.
Written in Zelda's picturesque cursive handwriting, the letter reads as follows: ]
Dearest Luca,
Warm tidings to you during this holy season.
It is customary in my kingdom to present gifts to one's friends and family in honor of our patron goddess. As She blessed us with gifts of light and love, even in the darkest days, so too do we share our blessings with our loved ones.
As we celebrate this season away from our families and homelands, that is all the more reason to treasure the friendships we forge in Songerein. I hope you will accept this gift.
May the Goddess smile upon you, Zelda
[ Inside the box is an unusual-looking device with a spout on top and a crystal on the bottom. Zelda located it in early November and through study of the device with Azmuth, discovered that it is an automated kettle. She was quite delighted with it at first, but over time, came to find the dreamotion power source of the crystal to be unreliable. Maybe Luca will like it (or at least like taking it apart). ]
[ So... The poor gift was left there until closer to noon because SOMEONE slept in on accident. Saving Christmas was tedious, many machines and decorations to fiddle with.
However, once he does find his gift he's both surprised and excited! Good thing these journals come in handy for quick replies. ]

Thank you for the tea kettle, Zelda! Or, I'm assuming this is some manner of tea kettle. The mechanics behind it seem interesting enough, especially the odd crystal on the bottom of it. This wouldn't be the so-called power crystals people have been talking about, would it? I'm eager to run some experiments on this thing and see how it functions.
We may have reliable energy yet!
Unfortunately, I'm unable to give you anything in return at this time. I hope you'll accept a belated gift on a later day. It seems unfair to leave you empty handed.
